About Pretty Girls in Pearls
Our History
Our mission: To foster and promote self love, sisterhood, and sophistication
Our vision: We envision a world where all black girls are nurtured, empowered, celebrated and respected.

Pretty Girls in Pearls was born when two cousins, Christina Jordan and Tiana Dixon-Musinga were discussing the need for more outreach and role models for young black girls in their community.

Tiana, the mother of girls really wanted a program for her girls that would inspire them to embrace their unique qualities and explore their creativity. Christina envisioned a space where they, as successful black women, could teach and unify black girls to create a sisterhood. To demonstrate how to uplift and encourage each other, and how to carry themselves as the esteemed queens that they are.
Pretty Girls in Pearls embodies all of what they envisioned. We are dedicated to providing social, cultural and educational opportunities. We will nurture phenomenal black girls that one day will become phenomenal black women.
